Privacy
We keep this short on purpose. We collect what we need to build your boards and run the site, and nothing we cannot explain in a sentence. Here is the whole picture.
What we collect
The contact details you hand us: name, email, company, phone. Supplier applications also include your facility address, manufacturing capabilities, equipment, team size, qualifications, availability, and quality processes. The files you send for a quote or a build: BOMs, Gerbers, board designs. And how the site and Central get used: which pages and sections you open, what you click, how far you scroll, how long you spend, and errors you run into. Never what you type, and never the contents of your files or orders.
Why we have it
To review and quote your job, build your boards, and get back to you. We use supplier applications to assess capabilities, review qualifications, and contact applicants about potential work. The usage data shows us where people get stuck, so we can fix it. That is the whole list.
We do not sell it
Your information is not a product. We have never sold it, we are not going to, and there is no clause buried below that says otherwise.
Who else touches it
Vendors help us run email, hosting, payments, and analytics (PostHog and Sentry, which store it in the United States, and Vercel). Automated DFM review also sends the design data needed for that review to Anthropic in zero-retention mode. Manual review is available on request.
Analytics, your choice
Usage measurement uses cookies and similar browser storage, and may include replays of a session with all text, inputs and drawings hidden. Outside the US it stays off until you click Accept. In the US it is on, and you can turn it off any time from Privacy choices at the bottom of the page; a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal counts as no. We remember your choice for 12 months.
ITAR-controlled designs
Mark a design ITAR-controlled and it stays with US partners: it never goes to AI review, overseas fabricators or overseas parts sourcing, and pages about it are never analysed or recorded. Boards for it are made in the US.
How long we keep it
We hold your data while we are working together, plus a reasonable window after in case you come back. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless the law makes us keep a copy.
